I have technically never sat down with them, and come out as gay. I talk about it in front of them (like gay pride topics) but that’s it. I’m now 29 years old and it’s well known I label myself as gay now. I came out on Facebook and they definitely didn’t like that, but mainly because they “didn’t want me to make life hard for myself”. Their response wasn’t great but isn’t relevant too much. I was 20 years old in college, had a bf for the first time and texted them that I was pansexual. So I (29M) am gay, and I technically have told my parents before.
